News: Chief Constable Admits Speeding

Police chief constable Meredydd Hughes of South Yorkshire police has been banned from driving. The officer, who is the former chairman of roads policing at the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), admitted driving at 90mph in a 60mph zone on the A5 near Wrexham in May.
Hughes stepped down from his position following the conviction. The 49 year-old has apologised, saying,
