After stuffing himself with meatballs in celebration of ‘The day of the Swedish meatball’ on the 23rd August, the Quattro Plant Cool-Milk Kawasaki rider has been training meticulously to make this round the best of the season as a host of fans and family come over to spectate at the party in the park. “Obviously I’ve had to enjoy my countries national dish to help prepare me for the races this weekend. I hope this ‘special diet’ works! It’s also a special race weekend as my father Jan will be attending along with 17 fans and friends from Sweden. They will join my girlfriend Lindha and my cat Felicia at the race. You will see many Swedish flags at Cadwell Park this weekend!”

Filip said. “I’ve been getting more and more excited for the weekend after the break. Fitness-wise after the crash, my physio has been doing a great job to prepare me for the weekend. Cadwell Park is a brilliant place in so many ways and so different to any other track. A little like Brands Hatch, when I first went there I was like: ‘Oh my God, are we going to race here?’”
