VFR400 Body Beautiful?
Moby | Blogs | 17/08/2010 08:40amI’ve spent time sorting the electrics, fuelling, suspension, brakes and various other things that needed attention and although it functions,it could look a bit better. The bike came with its original plastics, and boasted features such as one missing seat lug, a missing centre panel on one side, a cracked lower right fairing and a scratched seat unit.
Charlie’s Postcards From Assen – Ten Kate
Moby | Blogs | 13/08/2010 11:54amI was shattered this morning, having celebrated my track experience of Assen Circuit with a little drinky last night, no head banging just a happy tired. Beej is not a happy tired, Beej needs sleep… I awoke in the small hours to hear, ‘unbelievable… I can still fucking hear you!’ coming from the bathroom where my buddy had taken his bed to get away from my outrageous snoring.
Charlie’s Postcards From Assen – The Tyre Launch
Moby | Blogs | 12/08/2010 11:53amAnother dawn in the Netherlands, another night of rest for me and more anguish from Beej. Police Camera?
Moby | Blogs | 29/07/2010 10:36amTwo little words that would generally strike fear into any motorcyclist, leading you three points closer to having to retire your pride and joy for a lengthy stretch. VFR400 Shock Treatment
Moby | Blogs | 27/07/2010 10:11amSorting my electrical, braking and fuelling problems meant I was free to ride the VFR more than a couple of miles without fear of it breaking. I knew the rear shock was a little on the soft side, but one spin soon reminded me it was more saggy than Bruce Forsyth’s ball bag.
Popping out
Rootsy | Blogs | 14/07/2010 15:06pmIt’s said that a great many accidents happen within a mile of either home, or a destination. This is something we’ve all heard before, and also something many have suffered from in the past.
Sherco 2.5 For Sale!
Moby | Blogs | 22/06/2010 16:54pmThere comes a time when even I have to admit that there is such a thing as ‘too many’ bikes in the garage. That number appears to be seven, especially when your garage only comfortably houses four…
VFR400 NC30 – MOT Woes
Moby | Blogs | 17/06/2010 14:08pmAfter the carbs were sorted the NC30 was due an MoT. I was pretty confident it would pass, but that would’ve been too easy, and it was – it failed on a sticky front brake light switch and a binding rear brake.
