should you keep your bike on a paddock stand or just the side stand??? i was going to keep on the paddock stand and me mate said he read somewhere that it wasn't advisable to keep em full time on them??? spose it could be stress on the swing arm?? mines got the bobbins and hook set up.....what d'ya reckon folkes???

I use the side stand for short term & paddock stands over winter you need front and rear though or its kinda pointless. You can leave it on stands long term just dont be sitting on it etc get good quality stands though, the ones you see a pair for £50 are bendy wendy shite

Got room to keep bike on paddock stands and squeeze car in as well. But had my bike 6 years and its knocking on for 60,000 miles without any problems, dittro every other bke I've had so personally, I wouldn't worry. Agree the comment re cheap stands though as I've had them collapse.
