They are only concepts from the Kazakh marketing agency Good!, but with enough interest, maybe we’ll see them produced one day. We’d love to see more wacky designs like these in racing, how can we forget the infamous, AGV’s ‘big-face’ Valentino Rossi lid, penned by design legend Drudi Performance.

If you click on this AGV link you can add a pic of your own face to a helmet, I tried, but it wasn’t pretty, I should have used a snap of the dog! Let us see your results and if you see crazier designs out there, tasteful or not, please send us the pics.

If you’ve been hankering after a new Arai Chaser-V, the wait is over, as they’re now in your local Arai dealer.

An evolution of the Chaser (which remains in the range) the Chaser-V is constructed with an SFL (Super Fibre Laminate) shell and employs a wider aperture and SAI visor giving improved vision. Interior comfort is increased by the modified ventilation system; the large rear vent now creates an efficient vacuum, and in combination with the larger side vents greatly improves air circulation. Even the shape of the interior itself has been fine-tuned to prevent pressure points while offering the necessary snug fit.

The 2011 UK Chaser-V range is available in designs, replicas and plain colours as listed below.

Diamond White, Diamond Black, Black Frost

RRP: £349.99 – Sizes XS – XL.

Strain Green, Strain Silver, Strain Red, Marker Black, Marker Red, Launch, Pride, Legend, Steve Plater replica, RRP: £409.99 – Sizes XS – XL.

For more information on the Chaser-V call 2724UK on 01782 569800, or visit WhyArai.co.uk

This RAF Association is commemorating 70 years since the Battle of Britain took place in the skies over southern England with the Wings Appeal; this was one of the most important moments in British history and proved a decisive turning point in the Second World War.

Win It! One lucky motorcyclist will have the opportunity to own this piece of Arai and RAF history – you can enter a competition to win the helmet up until Friday 19th November 2010 – for just £1. Simply text ARAI to 70099 to enter. In addition, this unique Arai RX-7 GP will be signed by Steve Plater and presented by Steve to the lucky winner on the main stage at November’s International Bike Show at the NEC in Birmingham with various RAF Association personnel present. For those attending the forthcoming TT races, it will be available to view during the event fortnight on Arai’s Race Service in the Grandstand area and then on display at other events throughout the year.

This unique RX-7 GP wears a duck-egg blue base colour – the exact same tone as used on the bottom of the RAF’s Spitfires and Hurricanes in 1940 – as well as a pair of iconic red, white and blue roundels. The wings, as well as being a flying officer’s badge of honour also signify the work that the RAF association does for the whole of the RAF family.

For more information on the RAF Association and the Wings appeal call 0116 266 5224 or visit RAFA

For more information on the Arai range call Phoenix on 01782 569800, or visit Why Arai

I’ve been waiting for this for a very long time – the new Arai RX7 GP. We first heard that it was in development about two years ago, and the UK importer has got very bored of me asking when it would arrive.

I was a bit worried that Arai might have cocked it up, because the old RX7 was fantastic, and the new one – while it looks very similar – is actually completely different, including a new shell shape. I needn’t have worried: it’s a definite improvement over the old RX7.

It feels like it wraps round the base of your skull more, so you feel your head is entirely enclosed, the bigger visor aperture is actually quite noticeable, and the overall fit is even better than it was. Although it’s heavier, it doesn’t feel it because the weight is carried low down.
