WSB champ James Toseland took fourth place at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award, behind boxer Joe Calzaghe, F1 rookie Lewis Hamilton, and Ricky Hatton.
The award was voted for by the British public, and James missed out on the top three by just 710 votes, from a total of 630,000 votes. The champ rode his Hannspree Ten Kate
