California Superbike School At Silverstone in 2011

California Superbike School has announced that their excellent schools will run  exclusively at Silverstone throughout 2011, following the massive investment made at ‘the home of British motor sport.’ Dedicated to ‘the art of cornering’, CSS will run over a total of 18 dates from April to September.

Term starts on 22nd April, running on the recently upgraded Stowe circuit. There will be opportunities to learn on the 2-mile long Southern track, featuring Hangar Straight, during May and June, while next August the 1.6 mile National circuit, taking in the Northern section of Grand Prix track, will be available for the first time.

Teaching proven techniques that will benefit riders on both road and track, many young racers receive coaching from School Director and Fast Bikes columnist Andy Ibbott, including Thomas Luthi, who finished fourth in the Moto2 championship. Britain’s Leon Camier recently travelled to Sears Point in the USA to receive personal training from School founder and cornering guru Keith Code.

Students are assigned a qualified Riding Coach for the day and have five technical classroom sessions, each followed by a track session, putting theory into practice. Prices start at £399 and that now includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Courses are open to anyone with a full motorcycle or recognised race licence. Riders can bring their own bike or there is the option to hire a Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop rubber. Alpinestars two-piece leathers are also available to hire.

Full details can be found on the California Superbike School website,  or telephone 08700 671 061.
