It’s day three in the MotoGP house, and it was Marco Simoncelli’s turn to go into the diary room, sorry, top the timesheets. This makes it a Honda one-two-three in terms of fastest rider per day, with Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa taking the previous days’ honours.
Stoner had a small spill during Thursday’s session, while Alvaro Bautista ended up throwing up in his helmet. Valentino Rossi saw some improvements to end the day in tenth, just over a second of the day’s quickest time.
