As the Honda TT Legends team heads to Suzuka to race in the 8 Hour this Saturday, Rootsy reflects on his ride on the bike a few weeks ago at Oschersleben.
The test ran the stock bike back-to-back against this very special edition. It takes a team of 20 to get this bike through 24 hours of racing, and the preparation work behind it is amazing.

The array of changes made to the TT Legends bike is staggering. Everything is done to extend a component’s life – be it working normally or involved in a crash.
Every element of the bike is built for a very specific purpose. If it’s needed, it stays on, if not then it’s ditched. It may be ‘only’ pumping out 200bhp, but this has been good enough to see the team climb to second in the World Endurance standings.
