Tom Sykes: A win and a second is one off as good as it gets, and after a convincing race one win, it was good to see Sykes being pushed in race two. The pole man is now converting these starting positions into wins – 2013 is looking good!

Eugene Laverty: After two DNFs from Aragon, Laverty stuck it right where he needed to – with a fourth then a win in the second superbike race. With his team-mate leading the championship, Laverty now sits second – alongside Sykes and Chaz Davies.

Bad Week…

Leon Haslam: Breaking his leg on Friday, Haslam was in surgery just as everyone else was finishing riding at Assen. The prognosis is that of a typical racer, and Leon hopes to be on the bike at his home round in Donington. Finger’s crossed…
