Guy Martin – After torrential rain forced the cancellation of Thursday’s Dundrod 150 races, Saturday’s Ulster GP dodged the weather, with Tyco Suzuki’s Guy Martin taking a hat-trick of wins in the Supersport and Superbikes races.

SERT – Suzuki Endurance Racing Team took victory at the Oschersleben 8-Hour onboard their GSX-R1000. SERT’s Vincent Philippe, Anthony Delhalle and Julien Da Costa completed 316 laps, beating BMW Motorrad France by two laps, with YART in third.

 

Sunday blues…

Ben Spies – Ben made his comeback at Indy from a persistent shoulder injury, but then promptly launched himself to the moon and back, dislocating the other shoulder. You couldn’t write the Texan’s bad luck story.

 

Ducati – Dovi and Nicky Hayden were left as the last of the prototypes again (along with Iannone), as Hayden’s last lap move on Dovi let Bradley Smith through to cross the yard of bricks in eighth.

Honda TT Legends – Our TT Legends boys and girls struggled at Oschersleben, finishing ninth overall after some fuelling problems cost them a chuck of time. Onwards and upwards to Le Mans 24hr.

 

Blake Young – The American CRT wildcard had another nightmare at Indy. Young, riding his Attack Performance Racing Kawasaki, lasted longer than he did at Laguna (he wrote the bike off in practice and didn’t race) but crashed on the first lap yesterday.
