This month’s big test blends modern metal with used bike bargains. Yep, it’s all about the 750s: a somewhat forgotten class with the exception of Suzuki’s stalwart GSX-R 750. We then found some mint used examples: a Kawasaki ZX-7R, an MV Agusta F4 750 and a Yamaha YZF-750, and pretended to be Colin Edwards and Akira Yanagawa (and some unknown Italian guy) for a day.

We also brought in a Kawasaki ZX-6R and Triumph’s 675R for a head-to-head, in the quest for the perfect supersport machine for the road. Al had the chance to thrash another iconic 750: the Laverda Formula 750. And Rootsy went even more retro with the launch of Royal Enfield’s new GT.

But it doesn’t stop there. Oh no. BJ sampled Dunlop’s new SportSmart rubber in France, while Rootsy delved deeper into Kiska: the firm responsible for designing KTM’s 1290 Super Duke R. We’ve also got another instalment of Rookie to Racer, and joins your favourite regular features. This month’s Used Buyer’s Guide is all about Honda’s Firestorm and we catch up with JHS Racing’s James Holland to discuss tyres and tools. Andy Ibbott is on hand for riding tips and there are the usual product pages brimming with new gizmos, and some tried and tested items. November’s Addiction is John Jewkes’ Husqvarna Nuda 900 and Emma makes it look even better.

The race pages are dominated by an exclusive interview with MotoGP championship leader, Marc Marquez. And BJ beats him…at happy slaps. Not content with Al pinching the limelight last month, Andy tries to go one better and gets into a scrap with Mallory Park’s Tarmac, and an SP1. Enjoy!
