Yep, you heard that right folks! Racing returns to the legendary 2.43 mile public road track once more…
After months of speculation, it’s finally been confirmed by The Two Four Three Road Racing Association that two meetings will go ahead this year. First up is the Barry Sheene Classic on the 27th & 28th July and the Gold Cup from 27th to the 29th September. Road racing fans rejoice!
Further updates will follow in the next few weeks, but at least now there’s some certainty in the return of road racing to English shores once again.

Utter TT ledge and multiple Oliver’s Mount winner Mick Grant said: “I watched my first road race at Oliver’s Mount in short pants back in the early ‘50s and it ignited my passion for racing, we couldn’t let this historic track crumble into the history books. We need road racing in England, it’s one of the finest tracks in the world; it’s unique. I can’t wait to hear and witness classic and modern bikes race around this demanding track once again. Today is an emotional and significant day.”
