Not everyone wants or needs a big litre bike, and with prices starting in four figures this is the class that’s become the new superbike sector. These are truly brilliant machines – yes, even the GSX-R – so feast your eyes on their epicness!

Next up, we had a million and four launches to go on this month. KTM’s new 1290 Super Duke GT was the biggest, with the new machine being pitched in some atrocious weather in Mallorca. The premise of it is that it’ll be as nuts as the R, but you’ll be more comfortable for longer on it – what’s not to like?

Then the Ducati Hypermotard was released near Barcelona. This new 939 machine has all the hallmarks of a serious return to form, so if you like your nakeds to be able to pull wheelies from the get-go, this is well worth considering.

Yamaha has been busy knocking up a bike to fit between the MT-125 and the MT-07. The firm calls it the MT-03, mainly because it’s a funky 321cc slice of fun that A2 licence holders can enjoy in those learning years. Suzuki has sprinkled some love on the classic SV650 to create a machine that will really run the MT-07 close in a race of whatever sort you care to wish. And Honda gets in on the act with both the CBR500R and the CB500F getting a refresh ready for the Spring.
