Saturday and Sunday, October 11-12, 2025
The Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show sponsored by Carole Nash roars back with racing legends, stunning machines – and Bonhams’ unmissable Autumn Stafford Sale this October 11-12.

Celebrating the unstoppable rise of emerging and modern classics from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and ’00s, visitors can look forward to an action-packed weekend at Staffordshire County Showground with star guests, jaw-dropping bikes, thrilling live entertainment, and the world-famous Bonhams Autumn Stafford Sale.
This year’s show welcomes racing greats Wayne Gardner, 500cc World Champion, and 11-time British titleholder Roger Marshall, who will share the stage with commentator Jack Burnicle to relive epic races and behind-the-scenes tales from motorcycling’s golden era. Outside, the GP Paddock will roar into life with guest appearances and expert commentary from John McCrink, while indoors hundreds of stunning machines will be showcased by private owners and clubs including the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, Ducati Owners Club, and the Vintage Motor Cycle Club. Add in more than 900 traders and autojumble stands, live music, and the death-defying Wall of Death – and it’s a weekend no enthusiast should miss.
The excitement continues with Bonhams Autumn Stafford Sale, the official auction of the show, featuring over 200 motorcycles. The undisputed highlights are Joey Dunlop’s 1988 Isle of Man TT-winning Honda RC30 and his 1999 Ulster Grand Prix-winning Honda RC45, offered direct from the Dunlop family at estimates of £80,000–100,000 apiece.
The sale also includes the distinguished Robert Lusk Collection and other star lots, such as a 1937 Vincent-HRD 998cc Series A Rapide (estimate £180,000–240,000), a 1929 Brough Superior 995cc SS100 ‘JTOR’ (estimate £160,000–200,000), and a superb 1974 Ducati 750 SS (estimate £120,000–160,000).
Ben Walker, International Department Director of Bonhams|Cars Motorcycles commented: “This is perhaps one of the most exciting Stafford sales we’ve had, offering an exceptional variety of machines across every price point. From rare, historic superbikes to affordable entry-level classics, there truly is something for every collector and enthusiast.”
With world-class racing legends, iconic machines, live entertainment including Bolddog’s FMX stunt display, and an extraordinary auction lineup, Stafford once again cements its reputation as the ultimate celebration of motorcycling heritage and culture.
