Key Features and Technology
At the core of the Specter is Mesh 3.0 intercom technology, allowing stable group communication over distances of up to 2 km. This gives touring riders a much more reliable and flexible alternative to traditional Bluetooth intercom setups. The helmet also comes equipped with 2nd-generation Harman Kardon speakers and a wired boom microphone, offering clear audio quality and enhanced voice pickup, helped by AI-driven noise cancellation that reduces wind and road noise.
The Specter carries full DOT and ECE R22.06 certification, giving riders confidence in its safety credentials. It is Pinlock-ready, and ECE versions include a Pinlock insert as standard. SENA has also integrated a rear running and brake light into the helmet shell to increase visibility. A useful feature for long trips is Safe Power Mode, which allows the helmet’s communication system to continue operating even while being recharged from an external power bank — ideal for extended touring days.
