KTM’s had a few other things on its mind of late of, course – but its immediate future seemed to be secured by a massive £670m cash investment from Indian partner Bajaj last month. It’s still coming up with new machinery though, and gave the world a sneak preview of the new 2026 690 Enduro R at the ABR Festival.
The firm says it’s enhanced the engine to give increased torque, and matched it to an updated chassis with better feel and rigidity, together with new bodywork. There’s also a new compact ‘letterbox’ format colour LCD dash, and a dedicated ABS ‘off’ button on the bars. More info later in the summer.
