News: UK Road Safety Rating Initiative

All UK roads are to be rated for safety under a new initiative by the European Road Assesment Program (EuRAP). Every road will be awarded a score out of five for safety.

The scheme examines the risk presented by the road to prevent road user deaths. With ten deaths on UK roads every day, it is hoped the initiative will prevent 25% of the national total deaths over the next ten years. That
