Aftermarket bolts vary in quality massively, and we generally aren’t fans of any of the alloy stuff because it rounds out so easily. However, Pro-Bolt titanium bolts are top quality. Cleverly, the oil filler cap and the sump bolt are pre-drilled for lockwire, which saves a massive amount of messing about snapping drill bits. The sump bolt has loads of holes, giving you more options for what to lockwire it to.
They save loads of weight too, if you splash out and cover your bike in them. Alastair’s JHS Racing Triumph 675 uses nothing else, in order to make up for Al’s gut. Highly recommended for track bikes, or as a bit of bling.
