Bitubo Suspension Upgrades For Your S 1000 RR

Italian firm Bitubo has a long history in suspension products, with a few world championships to its name. With products like these, it may gain a few more. It’s always possible to improve on ‘perfection’, and with that in mind Bitubo have put together a package of upgrades for the BMW S 1000 RR.

The front end of the kit is headlined by the ECH29 fork cartridges, in combination with an adjustable Sterzo steering damper, which guarantees protection against even the worst type of slappers…

The ECH29 cartridge kit (£964.99 Zion Moto) use light components, are easily swapped and can be altered very simply. With a wide range of (easy) adjustment, the rebound and compression damping is independent. One leg controls compression, the other rebound. There are 24-clicks of compression adjustment available, and 12mm of preload adjustment.

The XXF31 Shock (£929.99 Zion Moto)  The XXF31 shock has been around for a few years now, but has been refined well over the years. It’s a lightweight aluminium unit with a 14mm rod and 30mm piston, 20-clicks of high and 24-clicks of low-speed compression adjustment, reduced damping coefficient for the internals, and has a range of 8mm height adjustment.
