Rookie Road Riders Lap It Up At Silverstone

Silverstone has launched a new Rookie Ride Experience, providing the next generation of bike nuts the perfect opportunity to start practicing their skills. Teaching essential rider training in a safe and controlled environment, the ‘Home of British Motor Racing’ is a pretty cool venue to be introduced to motocycling.

Launched at Silverstone’s round of the MCE British Superbike Championship teenagers aged 13 and upwards were able to experience all that Rookie Ride has to offer in a free taster session. Following in the footsteps of their BSB idols, younger members of the family were able to hop on a 49cc Yamaha motorbike whilst receiving expert guidance from Silverstone’s fully qualified instructors.

When the riders are ready to progress they will gradually build up speed and try out a more advance course under continuous supervision from their riding instructor.
