The Thundersport GB circus rolls into Mallory Park this weekend for round three of the series. Phil Crowe leads the Morello Services GP1 championship, just ahead of Dan Hegarty, the aforementioned Ingram and Norton’s TT rider, Ian Mackman. Hegarty also leads the RLR Motorsport 600s, from BSS privateer Sam Hornsey. Both will look to stretch the ever-increasing gap back to Tom McHale in third.

As well as the big boys, there are Aprilia Superteens and RRV 450s, showcasing the UK’s latest young talent, plus three classes of HEL Streetfighters bashing bars. The RST Clothing Golden Era Superbike grid will be hoping that Ian Simpson has forgotten how to ride his ex-factory RC45, but championship leader, Lee Reveley certainly knows his way around his local circuit.

WSB will be boring on the box. Get on down to Mallory Park this weekend.
