What a year Tom Sykes had. He threatened during the 2011season, but couldn’t string together races to be a genuine contender that year. It all changed in 2012, however, with Sykes being the fastest man on track for a decent chunk of it. What great pics – well done photographer Graeme Brown!
This isn’t Sykes in Superpole, but it represents his form in it. In terms of hot laps, Sykes bossed it this year.

Being able to run well in the wet proved to be crucial this year. If only half points weren’t awarded this year…
Another year on the ZX-10R should prove to be the key to Sykes’ 2013 success – here’s hoping!
