Freddie Sheene, son of the legendary Barry, made his competitive road race debut at Donington Park this weekend at a Thundersport GB meeting. Riding a Kawasaki ZX-6R in the Pre-National 600s, Freddie qualified third and went onto claiming a brace of third place finishes, a second place, before a DNF in the final race.

Ably assisted over the weekend by Sam and Alex Lowes, Freddie has gone under the radar a little since his return from Oz but has been a regular in the British Superbike paddock in 2013, often spotted in the Samsung Honda. The kid’s got tekkers!
