OSCT – Optimum Steel Cord Technology

The completely new Mitas-developed Optimum Steel Cord technology means the tyre is ideally balanced with optimal contact in all driving conditions, especially at greater lean angles and higher speeds. The OSC technology enables a precise determination of comfort and rigid zone position within a carcass. With a suitable zone position, either sports or touring characteristics of a tyre, or a combination of both, can be emphasised.

SPORT FORCE+ boasts superior performances throughout the tyre service life achieved by using Strong Carcass Technology (SCT) and delivers outstanding grip on different road surfaces, temperatures and conditions supported by OGT 3D-Optimum Groove Technology. SPORT FORCE+ riders will appreciate easy and progressive cornering with maximum control and high-speed stability throughout the tyre service life. These characteristics were achieved by a combination of two different technologies, SCT and Finite Element Analyses (FEA), for definition of the tyre footprint.
