2017 Ducati 1299 Panigale R ‘Final Edition’!

If we ever needed more proof there was a brand new Ducati Superbike on the way, then having the words ‘Final Edition’ pegged on to a special release of the current model, should be the last bit of evidence you need!

Yep, we’re expecting a new V4 engined machine to be revealed in just a few shorts month’s time, but until then there’s the 1299 Panigale R ‘FE’ to drool over. And boy, she may be pricey at around £34,000, but she’s more than two thirds of a Superleggera for less than half the cost. In someone’s book, somewhere, that’s probably a bargain!

She weighs in at 168kg dry (190kg fully wet), and makes a claimed 209bhp and 142Nm of torque at the crank.
