In the current issue of our fabulous magazine, one can find part II of our Battlefield Tour series, where we take a bunch of varied and cool bikes across to France, to check out WWII sites and have a good thrash!
In 2016 we rode down to St Nazaire to the site of the ‘Greatest Raid’ of WWII, Operation Chariot, and had a whale of a time checking it out, and going bananas on some amazing French back roads.

This time around we’re jaunting around Normandy at the Allies’ landing sites, museums and key battle zones, on five very different motorcycles – Kawasaki’s H2, Aprilia’s Tuono 1100 Factory, BMW’s S 1000 RR, KTM’s SuperAdventure S and Ducati’s Multistrada.
There were also plans to ride along the battle trail for a special day out in Belgium, however, and like most best laid plans, what happened just shows how a trip no matter how well organised, can go wrong in a heartbeat!
But what did we think of all the WWII stuff, and indeed, the bikes we were riding? Find out inside!
