If Carlsberg did rare superbikes, then they wouldn’t come much rarer than this. And yeah, the whole racing part didn’t go exactly to plan with not one single win, but they still had a pretty sexual spec sheet that would make a lot of modern bikes envious. I mean, the FP1 came dripping in the best chassis components available at the time, such as Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes and OZ Racing wheels, all wrapped up in that, let’s say ‘uniquely’ designed carbon fibre bodywork…
So, if you are on the hunt for something that is pretty damn special and exclusive, you might want to think about spanking some cash on this Foggy Petronas FP1; one of just 100 homologation bikes built for the road (a further 50 were built to race). It’s done just 7km from new, and is expected to reach somewhere between £30,000 & £35,000 on the 23rd February at the Race Retro Classic Car Sale… happy bidding.
