We bagged the keys to the most powerful production bike in existence, and took it for a spin on both road and track. But just how special is Ducati’s ultimate superbike, and is the Superleggera V4 worth the £90k price tag?
There’s a lot to be said for looking at figures and specs, but sometimes they just can’t be ignored; especially with this brute. Think 224hp, a dry weight of 159kg, a shed load of carbon, GP-spec aerodynamics… the list goes on, and all in a limited run of 500 units, which sold out before they’d even rolled off the production line.
It’s pretty obvious that things are going to be pretty tasty, but just how good is the Superleggera V4? Well, we did a shed load of road mileage on one, before taking it to Cadwell Park for a day of hooning to find out.
