TT 2022: Michael Rutter said to Fast Bikes John McAvoy “it would be a brilliant idea to ride something with handlebars and no fairing around the TT course” – so we sorted it out for him.
Enter the KTM Super Duke R EVO, shod with Metzeler Racetec RR’s, protected by R&G and a ride that shook Michaels Shoei from Bray Hill to the Start Finish Straight some 37.73 miles later.
With only yellow flags from the previous race, fuel conservation and the inevitable fly’s peppering his visor (see 18:37 for the full effect), slowing him down according to Michael this was “The scariest bike I have ever ridden around the TT course”…
